Hi.

Who's Telling Us What

by Joseph Carlson

So this week's political topic is more of a question.  Where do you get your news?  I've tried for a long time to get my news from several different places.  Fox News, CNN, The New York Times, all have valid points of view when it comes to what they are reporting about.

I don't agree with the idea that news can be a hundred percent not biased.  Everything comes through the lens of the person telling the story.  There is no absolute neutral.  I do agree in the fact that journalist though, the good one's, do research and are not lazy.

All those news outlets above have one thing in commom: They have a staff that they can put in the field in a given situation.  This is probably to me the most important part of reporting.  To be at an event or situation and report what is happening.

So, I'll just make this one short and sweet.  Where do you get your news and even if there is a biased view of it do you still believe it.  Also, if you don't agree with it do you still look at content from other outlets anyway?

Let me know in the comments below.
